About Jusgo Supermarket

Located at 9280 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77036, Jusgo Supermarket operates as a chinese supermarket serving Houston in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as grocery store, supermarket, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8:30 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Jusgo Supermarket at (713) 270-1658; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is jusgosupermarket.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Houston is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

THa Spot Check 3 months ago

Tried out Jusgo Supermarket on Bellaire today. Not bad overall β€” I’d give it 3 stars. Prices were good, and they had a solid variety of items. One thing I noticed is the organization and cleanliness have definitely improved compared to before, which made shopping easier. Still a little crowded and hectic at times, but overall a decent spot if you’re looking for affordable Asian groceries in Houston Chinatown.

If I can give it a zero, I would. Management displayed poor and or little training in customer service. Extremely rude. Price tag on the shelf indicated one price, register rang up a higher price. When called to their attention of he discrepancy, the staff doing the price check removed the label from the shelf and showed it to the manager. Yet, management instructed the cashier to still charge the higher price rang up at the register. She insisted it’s the wrong price. Not even an apology for their mistake. I didn’t feel like wasting anymore of my time challenging their decision as we already wasted time for both of us verifying the price and what good did it do? Jusgo still did not honor the price marked on the shelf. Ok, you win, but I will voice my displeasure with my dollars. Do not expect me to return and shop there again. There are many other Asian markets on Bellaire one can choose from. With that arrogant attitude, you will lose not just one, but many more customers to come.

The store is itself is okay a lot of cheaper item than many other Asian store, but the cashier was rude . The older lady literally throw all of the food no matter if it is fragile or not after bagging. And another time I came there the younger lady rolled her eyes at me when I told her my card don’t have tap. Like she literally snatch the card out of my hand while I try to insert the chip and try to tap the card like my card can magically use tap. Like I know if my own card can use tap or not.

Authentic, well stocked and maintained. Pretty similar in operation and variety to Jusgo Atlanta which was a favorite of mine. This store a little narrow in comparison but well organized and more options for snack and sweets gift boxes. I found many of my favorites here and found new items to try too. Weekly deals in the seafood section is the best part.

First time shopping at this store. Decent selection of items, prices were pretty good on most items. Saw some items which were cheaper than the competition, and others that were a bit more expensive. Purchased a few items I'd not seem before, and a few favorites. Would return here again to browse. Definitely a good selection across the board, of produce, frozen, and dry goods.
